Reddit signals ominous upcoming "changes” for old.reddit.com

Reddit says the beloved site is used for some "bad behavior."

As of a few minutes ago old.reddit.com now seems to requre logging in to access it.

Shame as it was still the best place to browse for info about some niche interests.

Edit: Seems like they might be testing the change as it is hit or miss at the moment.

Edit: Adding this to My flilters in uBlock Origin seems to fix the issue for the time being:

    I used python to write a program that bypasses the login prompt and displays the site in a wrapper that’s identical to old reddit. It’s honestly been kind of fun adding in features that were removed from the site years ago. Fuck spez and fuck all of his admins.

      Revanced has the pirated version of the app, gives full premium features too.

        I used that until I got banned for saying nazis deserve to be dead lmao

        So now as mainly a lurker I am stuck to coding out of spite.
