Tech billionaire Elon Musk called on Wednesday for Volodymyr Zelensky to “go” as Ukraine’s leader, after insisting any disruption to the war-torn country’s use of his satellite communications system was the fault of the US government, not his company.

The comments came as Kyiv raised doubts over US support for Ukraine in its war with Russia, accusing Washington this week of helping Moscow by failing to warn it of incoming missile strikes and hobbling Kyiv’s military response through changes to the SpaceX-designed system it uses for communications.

Musk is an ass, and wrong here, but for others confused by the headline here’s the quote:

“And so the slaughter continues,” Musk wrote on X. “Time for Zelensky to go.”

Why isn’t Musk asking for Putin to “go” as its Russia’s slaughtering that is causing all of this? Ukraine isn’t invading Russia. Russia could stop this TODAY by pulling all its troops out of Ukraine and stopping its attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians.

US elected Trump who comes with his billionaire friends. This was well known beforehand and what Kamala Harris literally warned about.

He needs to be in prison.

He gets to fuck with the world just because he has money on paper.

    That is so wrong.

This is why we should treat objections to taxing the rich as inefficient, ineffective, or not having “economic sense” as irrelevant. This is about power. The point of taxing these shits is not raising money. It’s about dealing with the fact that they have gotten too powerful. They need to be cut down to size if we are to keep any pretext of republican government (much more so for democratic) alive. This is how the Roman Republic fell.

Billionaires act like they are above the law. They mistake their wealth for power and good sense. Society has a problem when individual citizens have more wealth and power than the government.
