With the end of physical discs looming, it's never been more important that we find a way to own our digital games.

    I don’t know that consoles have a future.

    The business model is they sell you the hardware at a loss, and they make up for it licensing games.

    If nobody is buying (or, more accurately, renting) games, then how do they make money? It’s just a PC with a weird OS at that point.

      Won’t buy another console, xbox already tried discless and will again as soon PS goes through with this. Piracy is the way until they get their act together.
