Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the closure of the occupied West Bank, immediately following two Palestinian gunmen opening fire Friday on an Israeli military checkpoint, wounding at least five.

Videos from the scene depict a firefight between the Palestinian gunmen and Israeli forces that lasted at least several minutes with repeated bursts of gunfire ringing out. In one Reuters video, an Israeli responder yells that the shooting has been going on for at least 20 minutes and they were struggling to remove the wounded from the scene.

    “Five Israelis”???

hours after two Palestinian gunmen opened fire on an Israeli military checkpoint, killing two soldiers. Three more soldiers were lightly wounded in the attack in the city of Hebron,

So we are talking about five Israeli soldiers. You know, under the UN Charter, those are perfectly legitimate military targets for palestinian armed resistance to an illegal occupation.

Usually Americans love when the victim fights back against the bully, so I don’t get why the US isn’t unified against Israel.

I mean, I do get it. Propaganda and politics as a team sport…

How many days is it until the election in Israel?

Not saying that it isn’t a real incident but still curious timing that will definitely be used for the next week that Netanyahu has left to try and remain in control. Until the next jailer in chief gets in.
