Hmmm tough call, can I root for Ukraine and Iran at the same time?
Eh, enlisting the help of one fascist regime to fight another one is only a temporary solution. Maybe it will save the day for Ukraine but it sure will come with alot of strings attached. So long as there is a powerful genocidal, fascist regime in another corner of the world, none of the weaker countries are really safe. We have seen many times that geographic seperation does not really help you much.
It doesn’t really make sense to root for both because you’d be rooting for both sides against each other. One is a puppet of the US/Western neoliberal axis of evil that is run by a right-wing dictatorship that incorporated literal Nazis into its military and government (Ukraine). The other is a strong ally of peoples’ liberation movements in the Middle East (like those fighting against the demonic Israeli Zionist entity in Gaza and Lebanon) and is standing up to the evils of the most destructive powers on this planet—the US and Israel (Iran).
Western media propaganda villainizes Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Hezbollah, and Hamas but these are the states and groups that are standing strong against US empire, the most powerful and evil force in the world. If you’re wondering why Russia is helping Iran, it’s because they have been allies for a long time against the onslaught of Western hegemony, resource theft, and regime change. If you’re wondering why Ukraine is helping the US & Israel, it’s because they are a puppet of US empire (and want to curry favor with the US).
If you didn’t know (which most don’t because Western corporate media ran a huge propaganda campaign around Ukraine), Biden instigated the NATO-Russia proxy war in Ukraine (by funding/arming the out and proud Nazis running Ukraine since 2014 & installing NATO missiles on the borders of Russia) to enrich US & European billionaires despite warnings and pressure from the international community that doing so would lead to war, while Ukraine ethnically cleansed ethnic Russians in the Donbas region, leading to the hostilities that broke out in 2022.

The Mueller report found no conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, the idea known as “Russiagate”, which was the main bogeyman according to Western media at the time and while the report claimed that Russia interfered in the election on their own, the report’s conclusions were based on shaky evidence.
And yes I made an assumption that you didn’t care about Palestinians. I was wrong. I’m so sick of seeing liberals treat Russia as the ultimate evil when really it’s Israel and the US that are the most overwhelmingly destructive and oppressive forces on this planet, and I’m used to them not caring much for Palestinians (or saying they care but still materially and politically support the Zionist, genocide-funding Democratic Party) while being rabid supporters of Ukrainians (which a percentage of literally worship a historic Ukrainian Nazi, Stepan Bandera).
However, while far right groups may have been involved in “using the Russian invasion of Ukraine to push anti-West narratives”, which what the hell does that even mean/who cares, that does not change the fact that Ukraine itself, after the neonazi far right in Ukraine co-opted the 2014 Maidan riots, became largely governed by a neonazi (see the Azov regiment and Stepan Bandera devotees) tolerating, neoliberal billionaire funded government that Trump & Biden armed (despite a previous US law banning arming Ukraine because of the strong neonazi element in the government and military). That, plus Biden tearing up previous agreements with Russia and bringing NATO to Russia’s doorstep despite foreign policy experts and the international community warning that doing so would likely lead to retaliatory attacks from Russia.

It is the left and socialists/communists and even some libertarians that have been ringing the alarm bells about the Nazi-loving right-wing dictatorship running Ukraine (who have murdered ethnic Russians and left-leaning political dissidents since 2014 and have cancelled elections and kidnapped men across Ukraine for forced conscription) for years while Western media paints Zelenskyy as some sort of hero just because he’s fighting Putin. Putin and Zelenskyy are evil in their own ways, but none are as evil or have as much blood on their hands as the US empire and their attack dog, Israel.
