I just saw a video from a local news channel about a different patch of land in Georgia where Georgia Power was given an easement across a bunch of people’s land, essentially cutting these people’s property in half, then they clear cut the forest at the back of their properties and installed some giant transmission line towers also to power datacenters. One young couple interviewed had just bought their property and were planning on using the land to grow food but now they can’t and they also can’t sell because only half their property is usable despite them having paid for the entire plot.

Whoa this sounds pretty serious. It asks these companies to self report safety incidents and creates a “channel” for whistleblowers.

Of course they did because this is just the Democratic version of what Republicans do with regulatory capture. They just like to dress their version up with a facade of “consumer protections” when the law doesn’t actually protect anyone or improve anything.

Fetterman is just playing his part in all this kayfabe. Ever notice how there’s always just enough Democrats willing to cross the aisle to pass this garbage legislation? That’s because they want to make it appear as if there’s actual opposition to stuff like this when in reality this was the plan all along, they’re all in on it, and they’re just following the script.

When Democrats have a majority, they flip it around and pretend like they always have to water all their bills down for ‘bipartisan support’ to the point of being completely ineffective so that they can keep us in our place while pretending to be heroes with victory just out of reach.

Victory will always be just out of reach so long as Democrats and Republicans control congress. The ruling class is always looking out for their own best interests not the intrests of the American public.

I saw some other company did this same thing in Iowa. They hold these public meetings at private facilities so that they can police who is and isnt allowed to attend. In the Iowa case they told all reporters (I believe it was A More Perfect Union that was covering this) that they weren’t allowed in the building, which caused a scene when residents found out, which lead to them abruptly canceling the meeting early and the datacenter people blaming it on reporters being in the vicinity. I believe in this case they also had the city council sign NDAs so that they couldn’t talk about it either, which doesnt seem like something that should be legal (if it even is).

But they did have other smart phones and if the claim were true, that would mean its something only affecting Apple users and that the effects are nearly instantaneous which makes no sense.

Somehow I think they want to do more than judt declare them dead.
