Boo hoo, turns out gen AI sucks and becomes way too expensive once the real costs start being passed down to users.
And I mean “start”, because between wild speculation and outright theft of both natural and cultural resources it’s still very far from paying what it owes.
So is this the next case of a frontier AI business, or whatever you want to call it, turning its back on the loyal users who helped train it, build it and get its models to where they are today?
